A Small Town Girls’ Dream

Chef Katie was born and raised in West Virginia along the Ohio River. She first fell in love with culinary arts working summers on a Sternwheeler on the river. Growing up, her mom described her as a country girl with city dreams.

At the age of 18 she moved to Florida to start making those dreams come true. She attended Florida Southern College and received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She then ventured to Orlando and graduated as Valedictorian of her Culinary Arts program at Le Cordon Bleu. After 10 years working in the high-volume, fast-paced restaurant industry, she is taking on Tampa, one private event at a time!

Whether it’s a swanky Saturday night sit down with friends, a cooking lesson for newlyweds, or a Sunday afternoon family supper, Chef Katie is ready to create the perfect experience for you and your guests. Call or text to set up your next event!

A Culinary Journey, Reimagined

Joshua began his culinary journey at the age of 16, working in a pizza shop, where his passion for cooking took root. Over the next 15 years, he gained invaluable experience in corporate restaurants, developing a deep understanding of both the creative and operational aspects of the culinary world. Throughout his career, Joshua has refined his skills and embraced the challenges of the food service industry, establishing himself as a dedicated professional with a versatile approach to cooking and restaurant management.

After spending 15 years cooking in corporate restaurants, Joshua felt the need for a change and decided to pursue a more personalized culinary path. He joined Katie in becoming a private chef, where he could bring his passion for cooking directly to clients' homes. This new venture allows Joshua to offer tailored, high-quality meals, giving him the opportunity to connect with people on a more personal level while continuing to refine his craft in a more intimate setting.
